002: Raymond

This is Raymond, another new Vistan, and a student in the Palomar College Photography Department, where I work as the lab tech. I met Raymond through that program, and I have become friends over the last year or so. On several occasions, he has come over to utilize my home photography studio for class assignments. He is passionate about photography, and it’s been a pleasure to watch his skills grow, especially through his recent experiences in the Portrait Photography class.

Being another very new resident of Vista, Raymond doesn’t yet have much experience with the culture and amenities that Vista has to offer, but so far, he likes living here. He lives with his girlfriend Taryn, and the two of them rent out a house owned by her parents, along with a couple other roommates. Raymond is working hard put himself through school, and sometimes the need to work and pay bills makes working on his school projects difficult. His perseverance is paying off, though, as his photography continues to improve.
